American researchers have found that a six-week exercise program can help relieve the stress of women with anxiety disorders.
Matthew Herring of the University of South Carolina in Columbus, said that exercise may be a viable, safe and tolerable short-term treatment option for anxiety disorder, which occurs as a state of unusual anxiety and fear.
Recalling that they had done their research with 30 women with generalized anxiety disorder, Herring said the research had to be further deepened.
Herring has also stated that limited success has been achieved in relieving the discomfort with current treatments such as drug and behavioral therapies.
