BREAST CANCER CAN YOU PREVENT?
Unfortunately, there is not yet a way to completely prevent breast cancer.
However, it is possible to protect against the disease. What we mean by this is the reduction of the possibility of the disease with the strategies carried out before the disease develops.
* Regular exercise and physical activity
*Healthy eating ; poor in oil, plenty of fiber and plenty of vegetables and fruit
* Avoidance of weight gain
* reduction of alcohol consumption
* encouraging breastfeeding
* in those with high risk and positive genetic testing, protective drug treatments and protective mastectomies (discharge of the mammary gland)
It is very important what can be done to protect against breast cancer and reduce the risk, but if the risk decreases, there is always the possibility of catching this disease. For this reason, early diagnosis is as important as minimizing protection.
WHAT IS EARLY DIAGNOSED?
Early diagnosis refers to the detection of breast cancer in healthy individuals without the occurrence of disease symptoms. With the diagnosis of the disease, both the rate of being treated and the quality of life of the patient are increased.
HOW CAN EARLY DIAGNOSIS?
WHEN AND WHEN MAMOGRAPHY MADE?
The best method used in early diagnosis is mammography. But mammography is not applied at every age. Because the breast tissue contains too much fluid in young people, the image is not clear in the mammogram, and the blurred and frosted glass image is dominant. For this reason the sensitivity of the mammography is low. That means roughly the margin of error is very high. the water is reduced and this causes the clarification of the image. The mammography of 40 years and over is an examination that we can safely use to recognize breast cancer. Ultrasound with mammography in the case of intensive type or cystic mammals reduces the error margin the least.
Breast cancer incidence is increasing with age, but at a young age we are confronted with an increasing frequency of this disease.
The protocol recommended for patients at normal risk groups is as follows:
* 20 months of age and over each month self-examination of the breast
* Annual doctor checks and ultrasonography over 35 years of age
* 40+ age screening mammography
MAMMOGRAPHIC HARMFUL MIDIR?
MAMMOGRAPHY TOO MUCH PASTED?
In contrast to what I thought, the dose given by mammography is well below the cancer-forming dose. Cancer-maker must have at least 20 mammograms taken to reach the dozza. By the time of August at 12 o'clock and 10 minutes on the sun, a mammogram equivalent beam is taken.
For mammography, the breast tissue needs to be thinned. For this reason, the breast tissue is compressed between 2 plates. During this procedure, women with intense, hard memories can feel some pain. With digital technology we used in years, compression process has been reduced to the minimum. We do not print as much as the old one. We recommend taking painkillers half an hour before the procedure, especially if you are worried about this.
HOW DO YOU OWN self-examination?
WHEN AND FREQUENTLY MUST BE IN OUR SELF INSPECTION?
It is recommended that the self-examination of the breast be performed every month over the age of 20 years. It is the period after which the breast is softest at the appropriate time. The breast is observed naked in front of the mirror. Asymmetrical changes between the two nipples are investigated. In the presence of these manifestations, a doctor should definitely be consulted.
Then, the hand is circled on the breast, and a harder mass is investigated in the breast than in the breast tissue. This procedure is applied in two chests in turn and is evaluated in the same way on the underarms and afterwards it is evaluated from the angle of the jaw. If the mass or stiffness is detected, a doctor should be consulted again.
