Exercising helps regulate the blood sugar so that the insulin-like growth factors are at a certain level. Insulin-like growth factors are hormones that affect the growth and behavior of breast cells. People who exercise regularly are generally healthier and fat rates are lower than those who are not exercising because they can maintain a healthy weight. Fat cells produce estrogen and excess fat cells mean more estrogen production. When the breast cells are exposed to estrogen over a long period of time, the risk of developing breast cancer is higher.
According to a new study in the US, women who exercise 2 hours a day, even slightly, are 30% less likely to develop breast cancer than women who do not exercise! However, taking a lot of weight after menopause, this eliminates the positive effect. The study, published on 25 June 2012, was conducted on 1504 women who were diagnosed with breast cancer and 1555 women who were not diagnosed with breast cancer. The ages of women range from 20 to 98.
According to the research, in the age of fertility, that is to say, having exercised as much as menopause from the birth of the first child gives the greatest benefit. Even if it is not the same measure, regular exercise after menopause also reduces the risk.
It may seem impossible to devote time to exercise regularly in the intensity of work, home and family life. But remember that the exercise you are doing to reduce the risk is more regular and more persistent than its severity. Walking can be a good choice. For example, it can be walked for half an hour before going to work or during lunch break. If you drive a car, park your car at work or away from home, or use public transport to extend your daily walking distance. Taking a walk with a friend, a neighbor or a family member after the outcome will help you approach your goal and help you to cope with the stress of the day.
When combined with a healthy diet plan and the right lifestyle choices, exercise is the best thing women can do to reduce the risk of breast cancer. One of the conclusions of the new study is that reducing the risk of breast cancer, doing some exercise every day is better than exercising only 1-2 days a week. Regular exercise is also a key to being healthy both physically and mentally. It's never too early to start, nor is it ever early.
Do not postpone starting the exhalation!
