RESEARCH
• 66% of women in the survey participated in urban areas and 34% in urban areas.
• 65% of the respondents were married, 24% were single, 7% were widowed and 4% were women.
• While 86% of the women participating in the survey were housewives and non-regular workers, 14% were working women.
• While 12% of the women participating in the survey regularly play sports, 29% smoke more than 11 cigarettes a day.
RESULTS
• 71% of the women who participated in the survey when the spouse / partner was asked to influence the contraceptive method; said his partner had an impact on the method of contraception.
• Birth control pills were the most commonly remembered method (72%), followed by male condoms (63%) and spirals (55%). On the other hand, 9% of the women stated that they were not aware of any method.
• Spiral (25%), spiral male condoms (24%) and oral contraceptives (21%) were the most frequently used methods when the methods used until now were observed. It is also stated that 40% of women do not use any protection until now.
• When the educational status of the women participating in the survey was examined, it was seen that almost 65% of elementary school graduates used protection at least once in their lives. It has been observed that almost half of spiralken, high school and college graduates are not using any protection method until now as the most frequently used method among primary school graduates.
• When the working status of women is examined, it is seen that the working women prefer the birth control pill and the non-working women use the copper.
• It has been observed that the withdrawal method, which is a risky method, is used by approximately 15% of all women, especially primary school graduates.
• Nearly half of women did not use any contraceptive method in their first relationship.
• Women who have never used birth control pills before; When the most memorable benefits of these products are asked, the most memorable benefit in the two groups of women is "interfering with pregnancy", especially in the group that used the birth control pill, "Regulate menstrual bleeding", "reduce menstrual pain and stress". Women who have previously used birth control pills have said more than they do not use the phrase "good for skin and pimples".
• 4 females have gone to ginecology at least once in their lives. Twenty-one percent of those surveyed attend the gynecologist regularly.
• It is the responsibility of the state to ensure that more than 90% of women are covered for birth control.
