Attention to women with prostate cancer in the family

USA research involving 78 thousand women in 16 years, father, brother or son prostate showed a 14 percent increase in breast cancer risk among those caught in the cancer.

The research revealed that the risk of breast cancer is up to 80 percent in the case of father, sister, or son, prostate, mother or sister, breast cancer.

Stressing that prostate and breast cancer may be caused by the same "faulty genden", scientists have drawn attention to the importance of doctors' detailed examination of family history.

The results of the study were published in the "Cancer" magazine.
