USA Scientists from Yale University have investigated what the level of protein at the bottom may be related to bones, 114 women who entered the menopause three years ago attended.
Scientists visually examining the 11 points on the face and neck of participants used a device to determine the deep resilience of the cheek and under, measuring the mass and density of the bones with sound waves and X-rays.
Lubna Pal noted that the deepening of the wrinkles and the increase in number are related to the loss of density of the bones.
Pal noted that the more wrinkles, the less the bone density, regardless of age and other factors, the less bone density.
Lubna Pal emphasized that these results are important for ensuring that the risk of bone fracture in women entering menopause is determined by simple observation without costly tests.
The results of the study were presented at a conference of the American Society of Endocrinology in Boston.
